This course covers long-term preservation issues relating to digital objects, that is, maintaining and adding value to a trusted body of digital information for current and future use. INFO 543 is designed as to develop students' competencies in managing information in digital library and archival repositories. Its structure follows the Open Archival Information System (OAIS) standard.
