Class Description | This course is designed to teach the concepts and skills involved in
creating and managing a digital repository, library or archive. It is
paired with another course entitled "digital preservation"; this course
concentrates on building and managing the service while the other one
concentrates on preservation. It is modeled on what museum curators do:
how to select what should be included, how to deal with the specialized
knowledge in different fields, public education and exhibits, and
organization.
