WISE Workshop at ALISE

Inquiry across time and space

This workshop is open to all interested conference attendees, whether new to online teaching or experienced. Discussion, demonstration, and other activities will be incorporated to explore theory and practice promoting inquiry and developing critical thinking in LIS education. The session will encourage participants to consider several facets of online education including design, community building, and assessment. Presenters include LIS educators from several different schools who teach in a variety of content areas.

All WISE member schools are encouraged to send admin or representatives to take part in the meeting.  We also plan to offer an option for virtual attendance, for those who are interested in the meeting, but are not attending the ALISE conference. Additional information will be shared soon!
