WISE offers Panel on Collaboration and Pedagogy Workshop at ALISE 2007
Seattle, WA – WISE will be well represented at the upcoming 2007 ALISE annual conference, Habits of Mind and Practice: Preparing Reflective Professionals, which will be held January 15-18, 2007 at the Grand Hyatt in Seattle Washington.
“Best Practices for Online Pedagogy: Preparing WISE Scholars,” a workshop dedicated to online pedagogy, will take place Monday 1/15/06 from 12:30-4:30.
“WISE Model of Collaboration: Improve Access, Increase Quality, Diversify Course Offerings,” a panel which will discuss the WISE Consortium, including an up-to-date program assessment report, will be held on Wednesday 1/17/06 from 10:30-12:15. Panelists include Sue Alman (University of Pittsburgh), Bruce R. Kingma (Syracuse University), Rae Anne Montague (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), and Linda C. Smith (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign).
In addition, WISE will host a lunch meeting for members of the WISE admin listserv on Tuesday, 1/16/07. Interested listserv members should check for e-mail updates as the conference draws near.
